T'Way Air To Launch New Scheduled Service from Incheon to Cam Ranh

T'Way Air is to expand its medium-haul service in Vietnam this year with a new scheduled service from Incheon to Nha Trang, this is T'way Air’s 4th destination in Vietnam.

T’Way Air will be operating its first flights to Nha Trang starting 20th February 2019, linking Incheon Airport (ICN) to Cam Ranh International Airport (CXR). The flight to CXR represents T’Way’s 4th destination in Vietnam, along with Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Danang.

This daily service will operate into Cam Ranh’s new Terminal 2, managed by Cam Ranh International Terminal (CRTC) Joint Stock Company. “Tway’s new service to Nha Trang comes just in time for the upcoming travel peak season, providing even more capacity between Vietnam and Korea. We are honored to have T’way Air, being the 4th Korean-based airline and 6th airline overall, join our network of airline partners at Cam Ranh Airport. We look forward to offering more choices for our passengers to and from Korea,” quoted from the CRTC Management Board.

"We are very pleased to fly to Nha Trang, which is known as Asia's Naples, and as a leading Korean low-cost carrier in Vietnam, T'way Air will continue to offer a wider variety of network between Korea and Vietnam," a statement from T'Way Air Co., Ltd. It is expected for T’way to offer approximately 140,000 seats on this route by the end of the year, operating on a daily schedule.

With the T'Way Air service starting on 20th February, the inbound flight TW157 departs Incheon at 22:50hrs, arriving at Cam Ranh the next day at 01:50hrs, while the return flight from Cam Ranh departs at 02:50hrs and arriving at Incheon at 09:35hrs, all times local. This daily scheduled service will be operated by the carrier’s Boeing 737-800 & Boeing 737 MAX 8 with 180 and 189 seats respectively.

The International Terminal (T2) at Cam Ranh Airport, was officially put into operation on June 30, 2018 after 19 months of construction with a total investment capital of 3.735 billion. Developed and managed by Cam Ranh International Terminal (CRTC) Joint Stock Company, the T2 project came about at a time to inject much needed capacity into the airport operating infrastructure. At the same time, facilities and services were upgraded to match international standards.

 

T2 covers a total area of 50,500 sqm, made up of dedicated levels for departure and arrival processing. The terminal building has a unique architecture inspired by the shape of a swallow’s nest, native to the Khanh Hoa Province, and the waves of Nha Trang Bay - a signature representation of the South Central Coast. T2 has 4 aerobridges and 10 boarding gates, as well as advanced equipment systems supplied by prestigious international companies.

 

Terminal 2 serves more than 80 flights per day at peak season, processing up to 14,500 passengers on a given busy day. CRTC has embarked on capacity enhancement works to further increase its handling capabilities to match to the phenomenal growths. In 2018, T2 serves 21 international airlines with a total of 5.2 million international passengers, the fourth largest airport in Vietnam in terms of international passenger volume.

EASTAR JET'S INCHEON - NHA TRANG NEW REGULATION ROUTE WILL BE LAUNCHED ON FEBRUARY 1ST 2019

Eastar Jet will add its first flights to Cam Ranh from its base in Incheon, Korea, starting on 1st February. Eastar Jet will be operating out of Terminal 2 at Cam Ranh International Airport, managed by Cam Ranh International Terminal (CRTC) Joint Stock Company.

Over the recent few years, Cam Ranh and Nha Trang have been one of the sought-after beach holiday destinations for Korean tourists. Statistics confirms that passenger numbers at Cam Ranh Airport on the Korean sector increased from 70,000 in 2017 to 330,000 in 2018, a jump of more than 370%. Market share on this sector has risen to 6.5%, up from 1.9% a year ago. Besides Eastar Jet, the other airlines operating scheduled flights between Cam Ranh and Incheon are Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet Air, Korean Airlines and Jeju Air.

With the Eastar Jet service starting on 1st February, the outbound flight ZE561 departs Incheon at 21:35hrs, arriving at Cam Ranh the next day at 00:35hrs, while the return flight from Cam Ranh departs at 01:35hrs and arriving at Incheon at 08:35hrs, all times local. Bangkok Airways is the first airline to launch a new non-stop service from Bangkok to Nha Trang, Vietnam

Kicking off the Year 2019 on an exceptionally high note, Cam Ranh International Terminal Joint Stock Company (CRTC) and Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited (Bangkok Airways) jointly announces a new service between Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport and Cam Ranh International Airport. Starting 25th January 2019, this new air service, served 4 times weekly is the first direct non-stop air service linking the coastal cities of Cam Ranh and Nha Trang directly to Thailand.

After the successful launch of S7 Airlines’ scheduled flights between Irkutsk and Cam Ranh last month, Globus Airlines (subsidiary of S7 Airlines) today inaugurated the second successive scheduled service between Russia and Cam Ranh.

 

This evening at 20:41, the Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft carrying 160 passengers and flight crew landed at Cam Ranh from Novosibirsk, Russia, after a flight of over 6½ hours. Cam Ranh is the first scheduled destination in Vietnam for Globus Airlines.

Globus Airlines’ inaugural flight on December 16th will be followed by weekly flights operating every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Flights from Novosibirsk (OVB) to Cam Ranh (CXR) on will be operated on a 176-seater B737 MAX 8, one of the longest non-stop flights into CXR on a B737. This service will depart from OVB at 13:40 to arrive at CXR at 21:45 local time, with the return flight scheduled to depart at 23:00 and arrive at OVB the next day at 7:15 local time.

The international tourist group including the 6 millionth international tourist came to Nha Trang- Khanh Hoa in the 183 passengers flight of VN441 operated by Vietnam Airlines from Incheon – Korea at 06:15 am on December. The three special Korean passengers numbered 5.999.999th, 6.000.000th, 6.000.001th are A, B, C respectively.

Flight S7 569 was treated to the hospitality of the inaugural event, complete with a traditional water salute for the A320 aircraft and welcome gifts for all 140 passengers.

Cam Ranh Airport International Terminal Information

The International Terminal (T2) at Cam Ranh Airport was built with a total investment of VND 3,735 trillion and officially put into operation on 30 June 2018 after 19 months of construction. Developed and managed by Cam Ranh International Terminal (CRTC) JSC, it brings much needed capacity injection into the already congested aviation market. Cam Ranh T2 is currently served by 21 international airlines and at 3.65 million international passengers in 2017, it is the 4th busiest in terms of international passenger volume handled in Vietnam.

The airline has a wide internal route network with hubs in Moscow (Domodedovo) and Novosibirsk (Tolmachevo). In its winter schedule S7 Airlines performs 181 regular flights to 26 countries, including Europe, the CIS, the Near East, Southeast Asia and the Asia-Pacific region.

S7 Airlines To Launch Non-Stop Scheduled Service between Irkutsk and Cam Ranh on 28th November 2018

Cam Ranh, November 25th 2018.

 

Cam Ranh International Terminal (CRTC) and S7 Airlines (S7) jointly announce the launch of direct non-stop scheduled service starting on 28th November 2018, connecting the Russian city of Irkutsk to Cam Ranh, Vietnam.

Flights from Irkutsk (IKT) to Cam Ranh (CXR) will be initially operated twice-weekly on a 164-seater Airbus A320 aircraft with a flight time of 5hr 45mins. This service will depart from Irkutsk at 21:10 to arrive at CXR the next morning at 03:15 local time, with the return flight scheduled to depart at 04:30 and arrive at IKT at 12:20 local time. 

With the launch of S7's IKT-CXR service, CRTC expects to handle more than 30,000 passengers per year from Irkutsk, opening up huge opportunities for business and tourism to the Province of Khanh Hoa and the surrounding regions. Tourists from Irkutsk can now enjoy direct access to the twin cities of Cam Ranh and Nha Trang, gateway to a stunning backdrop of white sandy beaches, verdant mountains, and a myriad of un-spoilt islands. CXR’s domestic network also connects to the beautiful cities of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh and Danang.

We hope this is first of many new scheduled services to Cam Ranh since our organization opened the new International Passenger Terminal Building in June this year.”

Cam Ranh Airport is one of the fastest growing airports in terms of international passenger traffic among South-East Asian airports, registering a growth of 63% in 2017 to wrap up the year with 3.65 million international passengers. This year, CRTC is on target to exceed 5 million international passengers.
