Taking Flight – Sustainable Partnership
Looking ahead to 2025, CRTC is committed to realizing our core strategic objective: “Taking Flight – Sustainable Partnership” (Cất cánh thương hiệu – Đồng hành bền vững). Our focus is squarely on elevating our brand and forging deeper global connections. We will intensify international cooperation, strategically promote aviation and tourism through targeted campaigns, and significantly enhance our brand recognition on the global stage. We have identified key priority markets for the upcoming period, including the Philippines, Singapore, Japan, Australia, and the Middle East. These regions represent promising new horizons for connectivity and sustainable growth, reinforcing CRTC’s position as a dynamic hub in Southeast Asia.

A Year of Remarkable Milestones
The year 2024 marked a pivotal chapter, etching remarkable milestones in the history of Cam Ranh International Terminal (CRTC). This was a year defined by significant growth and renewed partnerships. We were honored to welcome new airlines to our family, including Aero K Airlines and Dong Hai Airlines. Crucially, we celebrated the strong vote of confidence from our long-standing partners who made their return to Cam Ranh, such as: Urumqi Air, Air Aero, Qanot Sharq, Uzbekistan Airways, Asiana Airlines, and Qingdao Airlines. This collective presence is a powerful testament to the undeniable appeal of the Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa tourism market and underscores the deep, enduring trust and collaboration between these global carriers and CRTC. We are proud to be their gateway to this beautiful destination.

Reopening and Rebound
The Government of Vietnam officially reopened borders for international tourism from March 15, 2023, marking the full resumption of inbound travel. Cam Ranh International Terminal welcomed the return of major international markets, including Korea, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan. Khánh Hòa Province recorded strong recovery momentum, with over 2.4 million international visitors by air, reaffirming its position as one of Vietnam’s leading coastal destinations.

Gradual Recovery and Readiness
Cam Ranh International Terminal (CRTC) maintained operations under strict safety standards while preparing for the full reopening of Vietnam’s borders. During this period, the terminal upgraded systems, restored key services, and worked closely with airlines to prepare flight schedules for the upcoming recovery. CRTC also continued to maintain essential international flights, particularly for experts and charter operations, ensuring operational readiness and service quality.

Cam Ranh International Terminal welcomed charter flights from Russia
Cam Ranh International Terminal welcomed rescue flights foreign experts to Vietnam. Beside, T2 Terminal also upgraded equipment worth VND 400 billion, built a safe terminal, vaccinated 2 doses of vaccine for employees and get ready to re-operate international flights to Cam Ranh, Khanh Hoa.

Cam Ranh International Terminal welcomed the first international flight
The new International Terminal (also known as T2) of Cam Ranh Airport, is officially put into operation with total investment capital of 3,735 billion VND. This increases the airport's capacity to 8 million passengers a year by 2030, and 4000 passengers at rush hours.

Cam Ranh International Terminal construction completed
The number of passengers at Cam Ranh International airport increased rapidly thus caused overload. This led to the need of a new terminal. In order to enhance the capacity of the airport and ensure the security, Khanh Hoa Province's People's Committee launched the project "The new International Terminal (T2) - Cam Ranh International Airport".

Cam Ranh Airport was built by the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.
Cam Ranh Airport was built by the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. In 2009, Cam Ranh International Airport was officially launched. With the operation of the newest & modern airport terminal in the Central region, Cam Ranh airport officially became the 3rd international airport in the region and welcomed the first flight by the airline Silk Air Singapore implement direct flights from Singapore to Vietnam.

Cam Ranh International Terminal continues to evolve and expand, serving as a gateway to the beautiful Khanh Hoa province and contributing to Vietnam's growing aviation industry.
