On March 23, Cam Ranh International Terminal was pleased to welcome Aeroflot Airline as it reopened the direct flight route connecting Moscow (Russia) to Khanh Hoa. The flight with flight number SU294, carrying 292 passengers, holds special significance as it is the first commercial flight in 2025 bringing Russian tourists from Moscow to Khanh Hoa after years of suspension. According to the initial plan, the airline will operate this route with a frequency of 3 flights per week.

The number of international tourists from Russia and the CIS region to Khanh Hoa is growing steadily towards the end of March. On March 25, Air Astana from Almaty (Kazakhstan) made its first landing at Cam Ranh International Terminal with 86 passengers. Air Astana operates the Almaty - Cam Ranh route with a frequency of 4 flights per week (starting March 25) and the Astana - Cam Ranh route with a frequency of 3 flights per week (starting March 28). With the addition of Air Astana, there are now 3 airlines operating routes from Kazakhstan to Cam Ranh with a total frequency of 14 flights per week.
