The first eight months of 2026 have marked a spectacular breakthrough for Khanh Hoa's tourism sector. The province welcomed over 18 million visitors, representing a growth of nearly 40% compared to the same period in 2025. Most notably, the international market experienced an impressive surge with over 6.3 million arrivals, up 67.9%. This robust influx drove total tourism revenue to 60,893.1 billion VND and maintained an average room occupancy rate of approximately 65.43%.
Beyond the impressive numbers, Khanh Hoa is strategically elevating its destination profile. The province is actively finalizing the dossier to officially recognize the Northern Cam Ranh Peninsula as a National Tourist Area. Simultaneously, the upcoming implementation of provincial green tourism standards and the development of a unified destination brand identity signal a strong commitment to sustainable and high-quality hospitality.
