Starting from 3rd April 2019, Vietjet Air will be flying, initially, two times weekly from CXR’s newly-operational Terminal 2 to Taipei. The budget-friendly carrier will be operating this new route on Wednesdays and Saturdays, served by the carrier’s A320 aircraft. Taiwan makes the second new country link for Cam Ranh Airport this year, after the introduction of direct flights to Thailand a few months ago.

This new air service connects Taipei, one of Asia-Pacific's fastest growing region for finance and commerce, to the increasingly popular beach destinations of Cam Ranh and Nha Trang. Taipei offers an attractive blend of Western and Eastern cultures, a vast variety of eclectic cuisines, and a shopping paradise for many. On the other hand, Cam Ranh and Nha Trang offer that year-round warm-weather dream vacation for Taiwanese and holiday-makers alike.

A delighted CRTC Management Board claims, “Cam Ranh International Terminal continues to work with our airline partners to expand our network connectivity. Today, we are pleased to have Vietjet Air offer this most convenient travel option, pulling Taipei and Cam Ranh closer together. As much as we are excited to welcome visitors from Taiwan to this sunny destination, we are also keen to encourage our communities in Cam Ranh and Nha Trang to discover Taiwan.”
